2 Ton Predator (1993-present): a Thrash Metal band from Ã-rebro, Sweden.
Founded by Mogge (Real Name: Morgan Lundin; vocals) and Tobbe (a.k.a. Tobias Anger; bass) originally as Wedge in 1993, the act would assume its 2 Ton Predator moniker soon after.

MaZZa (Real Name: Petter Samuel Freed; guitar) and Matte (Real Name: Mathias Borg; drums) soon joined them, and with the line-up complete the band began writing songs, making demos and looking for a deal. The style back then was laid back heavy metal sort of in the vein of Alice In Chains.

The band's first demo in 1993 was produced by Dan Swanö (of Edge Of Sanity), but despite the name brand in the producer, they didn't manage to catch the interest of any labels.

The band ran through some growing pains thereafter when Mogge went to jail and a record deal they had secured ended off being a scam before finally getting a proper break with Danish label 'Diehard' under the name 2 Ton Predator and a new, harder sound. In the Shallow Waters resulted in 1999 under the production of Tue Madsen (of Danish act Grope). He would also be with them on the mixing desk for the follow-up Boogie (2001) that led to a full European tour with Entombed and Cathedral. Demon Dealer (2003) followed soon after. By 2005, however, they were label-less again and ended off releasing the Untitled album later that year.
