Demonbreed (2003-present): a Thrash Metal band from Kent, Canterbury, UK.
Hailing from England's South Coast, Demonbreed featuring Mike Hatchett (vocals), Phil Simmons (guitar), Jimmy Searles (guitar), Stu Davey (bass), and Ben Moss (drums) was formed in late 2003 by Simmons, Hatchett and Moss. After trying out various members a stable line-up was achieved with the addition of Davey.

Under the influences of Slayer, Pantera, and Lamb of God and feeling the need to reach into the souls of the innocent a decision was made to create the first self financed five track EP, Middle Finger Up in 2004.

The current line-up was then completed in January 2005 with the addition of Searles adding a new dimension to an already full sounding band. In the ensuing months, as well as various live performances including slots with Four Way Kill and Head-On, the band worked on new material with the mind to producing an album. With the offer of a deal from 'Casket Records' a date has been set. Having been on the scene for some time now, members of the band have extensive band experience of recording and touring Searles, Simmons and Moss being involved in local hardcore outfit Four Random Words. Other previous projects members have been involved with include Lost End and North By Northwest. In the short time that the band has been on the scene a substantial local following has been accrued due to energetic and uncompromising live shows and audience participation.

Footnote: Not to be confused with the German band of the same name.
