The Dyatlov Discovery (2015-present): a Death Metal band from Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
This project seems to be the a one-man operation with Neil Melville playing the major parts of (guitars/vocals/songwriting). The name refers to the "Dyatlov Pass Incident" a mysterious and unsolved death of nine ski hikers in the northern Ural Mountains on February 2, 1959. The hikers were found in two groups, some missing their clothes, one with her tongue missing, It was a gruesome discovery that the Russian government shut the case on and forbade anyone from entering the area. A new investigation would try to find answers in 2019. In the case of the act by the name, Mutilated Extremity single (2016), A Grave Discovery EP (2016), The Human Condition (2016) and Desecration (2017) have been the results.
