Skrew (1991-1997, 2009-present): a Industrial Metal band from Austin, Texas, USA.
The band Skrew formed in 1991 out of the remains of Angkor Wat by Adam "Brune" Grossman (vocals/guitar) and Opossum (Real Name: Danny Lohner; guitar). With the help of session musicians Mike Robinson (guitar), Mike Peoples (bass), Chris Ault (keyboards) and Mark Dufour (drums), they completed their debut blast of industrial metal, Burning in Water Drowning in Flames (1992). To fulfill touring obligations and complete the follow-up, Dusted (1994), the line-up of Brandon Workman (bass), Clay Campbell (guitar) and Jim Vollentine (keyboards) was utilized. The album was a more instrumental affair while still maintaining an open and innovative feel. But by the next two albums Shadow of Doubt (1996) with Robb Lampmann (bass) replacing Workman, and Chadwick Davis replacing Dufour, and Angel Seed XXIII (1997) seeing only Vollentine and Grossman remaining to recruit Steve Green (ex-Skinlab; guitar), Jason (guitar), Frap (bass), Jim Vollentine (keyboards) and Chris (drums), they drifted further away from their industrial metal roots incorporating ever more standard heavy metal style riffs, the idea didn't sell too well and the act broke up shortly later.

The band would reform in 2009 to release Universal Immolation (2014) under the membership of Adam Grossman (vocals, guitars, programming), Ricktor Ravensbrück (guitars) and Laurent Le Baut (drums).
