Gutrix (1995-1997): a Heavy Metal band from Copenhagen, Hovedstaden, Denmark.
This side project started before Virus 7, another side-project of Mercyful Fate men Hank Shermann (guitars) and Bjarne T. Holm (drums). Recruiting Richard Plougmann (vocals) and Claus Weiergang (ex-Zoser Mex; bass) for the ride they would release Mushroom Songs (1997) in more of a bluesy Led Zeppelin style before splitting. Gutrix proved to be a better proposition of the side-projects but it is presumed it was a one-off side project by design.
