Madam X (1981-1988, 1991, 2013-present): a Heavy Metal band from Detroit, Michigan, USA.
The band Madam X was started by sisters Maxine (drums) and Roxy Petrucci (guitar), along with Bret Kaiser (vocals) and Christopher 'Godzilla' Doliber (bass) who soon after relocated to L.A., where their sleazy pop/heavy metal found a receptive audience to release the High In Highschool (1984) single, a track featured on their debut and only LP release We Desrve The Right in 1985. The album received little notice by critics who dismissed it as a joke and sales were likewise lackluster. Future Skid Row (USA) man Sebastian Bach replaced Kaiser while Mark McConnell replaced Roxy who went off to join all female act Vixen (Minnesota, USA). This new line-up struggled to continue the legacy to no avail for Bach would find fame in Skid Row (USA) shortly later, while Doliber formed Godzilla. The original line-up reformed in 1991 and then again in 2013 to record Monstrocity.
