Demonized

Biography

Demonized (2000-present): a Death Metal band from Querétaro, Mexico.

T

he idea of establishing Demonized came during a conversation between Ravager members Antimo Buonnano (also of Bloodreaping; guitar/bass/vocals), Samuel Olvera (also of Piranha; guitar), Eric Ramirez (bass) and Oscar García (drums) in early 2000, resulting in a rehearsal tape in March 2000 with two songs from Demonizedand a cover song of Metal Church. The Intention of this rehearsal tape was to record it in a decent studio and release it on a 7" format when 'American Line Productions' got interested in the project and released it as a CD split with brother band Domain. Another split release followed in the form of HellBirth later that same year. It wasn't long before 'Evil Vengeance Records' came calling to release their debut self-titled album in January 2002, but their plans to record again were dashed when the label closed up in 2003; fortunately 'Osmose' picked them up for the release of their debut self-titled album later that year.
