Sudden DarknessBiographySudden Darkness (1983-1992): a Thrash Metal band from Frankenthal, Germany. A fter several demos, it wouldn't be until 1988 before German act Sudden Darkness would debut with a full length studio release under the name Fear of Reality with the membership of Andreas "Neudi" Neuderth (drums), Guido Holzmann (bass), Volker Faust (guitars) and Alki (R.I.P. 1989; vocals). As it would happen, this would be their only studio album; demos and a compilation would fill out their discography. Neuderth and Holzmann would go on to rename the act Economist in 1992, after an attempt at one more demo in the form of Iceflowered featuring new members Roger Dequis (guitars) and Axel Schott (vocals); these members would go on to join Neuderth and Holzmann in Economist. The Iceflowered name would be recycled for Economist's final compilation anthology. Dashboard for Sudden Darkness
