Destiny's End

Biography

Destiny's End (1997-2001): a Thrash Metal band from South Pasadena, California, USA.

T

he operation of Destiny's End formed when the members of New Eden split up, with everyone forming a new band sans guitarist Dan DeLucie, and original vocalist Nardo Andi (now on bass) sticking around to try again. Armed with ex-Helstar vocalist James Rivera (who also served briefly with New Eden), Perry Grayson (guitar) and Brian Craig (ex-Seven Witches/ex-New Eden; drums) to release Breathe Deep The Dark in 1988 featuring melodic speed metal, not too dissimilar from early Helstar. They would follow it up with the equally acclaimed Transition (2001).

Following the completion of the second release, Destiny's End suddenly vanished with the members disbursing amongst other outfits, with DeLucie in Crescent Shield, Brian Craig in Seven Witches (to later be joined by vocalist Rivera) and Grayson formed his own act Artisan to later leave that active endeavor to pursue another musical course.

The compilation, Transition/Breathe Deep the Dark, a merging of their only two albums would emerge posthumously in 2003.
