Biography

Terrorizer (1987-1989, 2005-2006, 2009-present): a Death Metal band from Los Angeles, California, USA.

aking their name from the song Terrorizer by the band Master, Terrorizer originally featured Alfred "Garvey" Estrada (bass), Jesse Pintado (guitars; R.I.P. 2006; ex-(Unknown Death, Brujeria, Lock Up, Napalm Death, Resistant Culture), Oscar Garcia (vocals/guitars; ex-Nausea, Majesty, Unknown Death, Terrorizer LA) to release World Downfall (1989).

Ex-Morbid Angel man Pete Sandoval would be featured on drums and piano on track 12 of Darker Days Ahead (2006), a year after the band reformed and only a few months before founding member Pintado died in Holland in August , allegedly from diabetes worsened by his rumored alcoholism, and ending the reunion of Terrorizer.

In 2009, the band reformed again, this time with David Vincent returning and Resistant Culture guitarist Katina Culture as Pintado's replacement.

By the time their third debut, Hordes of Zombies (2012), arrived the membership boasted Anthony "Wolf" Rezhawk (vocals/lyrics), Katina Culture (guitars) and Pete "Commando" Sandoval (drums). It would be only Sandoval remaining for the follow-up, Caustic Attack (2018), featuring Sam Molina (bass/vocals) and Lee Harrison (guitars).


Footnote: The UK-based extreme music magazine Terrorizer was named in honour of the band.
