FrozenBiographyFrozen (2000-2009): a Progressive Metal band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. F ebruary 2000, Marek Chagnon (guitar/keyboard), Simon "Scymon" Tremblay (guitar), Jeffrey "Mott" MacDermott (vocals) and Sébastien Dorion (drums) joined forces to create Frozen. In July 2003 bassist Görf joined Frozen to make the band complete for their self-titled demo EP; the distribution and promotion of the EP would be insured by their independent label 'MAROX Records'. In the years between 2003-2005 they spent the time promoting themselves with the limited edition EP of only 500 copies. In December 2004, Dorion quit the band to pursue other goals not related to the music industry, but the replacement came in January 2005 when Mathieu Groulx joins Frozen to fulfill the drummer duty. Selecting Quebec top mixing engineer Pierre Remillard (Quo Vadis, Cryptopsy, Martyr, Obliveon) to mix their album and new comer Pierre-Hugues Rondeau (A perfect Murder, Capharnaum) as sound technician, the act would release their debut CD In Time (2007). The act would split two years later. Footnote: Not to be confused with the American band of the same name. Dashboard for Frozen
