W

ith Masterplan's membership of Jørn Lande (ex-Ark/ex-Mundanus Imperium; vocals), Roland Grapow (ex-Helloween; guitar), Jan S. Eckert (ex-Iron Savior; bass), Axel Mackenrott (keyboards) and Uli Kusch (ex-Sinner/ex-Helloween/ex-Gamma Ray/ex-Holy Moses/ex-Mekong Delta; drums) they would become a sort of super group. Their self-titled 2003 debut album was a potent slice of Euro melodic Power Metal showing this group as an effective team.

Jørn Lande left during the writing of the band's third album due to musical differences ut returned in April 2009. Uli Kusch also departed a few months later. Jørn's replacement Mike DiMeo left in January 2009. Lande left again in 2011; Eckert would rejoin Iron Savior.

After their debut, the discography would grow to feature:
Enlighten Me EP (2002), Back for My Life EP (2004), Aeronautics (2005), Lost and Gone EP (2007), MK II (2007), Two Originals (Boxed set; 2009), Time to Be King (2010), Novum Initium (2013), and Keep Your Dream aLive (Live; 2015).
