Meliah Rage

eliah Rage started in 1987 with Mike Munro (vocals), Anthony Nichols (guitar), Jim Koury (guitar), Jesse Johnson (bass; later Darren Lourie) and Stuart Dowie (drums) to sign to 'Epic' in 1987 and release a set of thrash/heavy power metal albums. Starting with their debut, Kill To Survive, in late 1988 they followed it up with a mini live set titled Live Kill early the next year. Their next studio effort would arrive in the summer of 1990 in the form of Solitary Solitude. Although receiving fair praise, the album failed to fulfill its potential, much like the band itself. While contemporaries like Pantera went on to success, Meliah Rage continued on in relative obscurity to release albums on various independent labels:

Death Valley Dream (1996), Unfinished Business (2002; originally recorded in 1992), Barely Human (2004), The Deep and Dreamless Sleep (2006), Masquerade (2009), Dead to the World (2011), Warrior (2014) and the compilation Before the Kill (2015).
