Blood Of Christ
Battling through the club scene along side such acts as Hemdale, Kreator, Morbid Angel, Opeth, Brutal Truth and a whole slew of other international acts, these veteran performers have also completed several successful mini-tours of Ontario and Quebec as well as recently completing their first full Canadian tour with Nuclear Blast' recording artists Kataklysm and Unique Leader's' Necronomicon as recently as September and October 2002.
Under the original membership of Jason Longo (drums), Gus Kalogeros (guitars), Marek Kopala (vocals/bass) and Jeff Longo (vocals/guitars) BOC opened up show with their Divine Requiem (1994) demo tape that was quickly followed-up with Frozen Dreams later that same year with Marek Kopala (bass/keyboards) and Jason Deaville (vocals) stepping in. Kalogeros would be gone by the time The Lonely Flowers Of Autumn was released (1995).
In the autumn of 1996, Blood Of Christ earned their first recording contract on the now defunct Pulverizer Records' (based in Chicago, Illinois) to release A Dream To Remember during March 1997 featuring Conan Bulani on vocals. Blood Of Christ's first full-length album would also hit the European shores with the help of a licensing deal through Diehard Music' in Denmark.
The band advanced onward into the new millennium and crafted yet another full-length album for Montreal 's Skyscraper Music'. Their second album, "As the Rain Gently Falls" (2002) showcased a more mature and versatile sound, even incorporating more acoustic guitars and clean guitar experimentations with Greg Idasz taking over bass, vocals & keyboards. In 2003 their Breeding Chaos album would be released.
