Givehead (2000-present): a Thrash Metal band from Lohne, Germany.

F

ormed in 2000, Givehead started under the original name of Blood Line. After various changes in the lineup and first tryouts in home recording, the venture soon became more serious. Finally in 2003, Givehead was founded in the lineup of Sascha (vocals), Heiko (guitar), Björn (guitar), Katja (bass), Pascal (Keyboards/vocals), and Christian (drums) and released their first demo The Soulless Demo in 2004. After the release of their first album WAR (2006), the band began work on their second effort, Thoughts of a Philosopher (2007) featuring fluences of Fear Factory, Korn, Metallica, and Iron Maiden.
