ormed as Sperrzone in 1995 playing typical German rough punk. The band released an EP in 1998 and soon after changed their name and style to a more Napalm Death style Grindcore death metal to evolve into a sound more like AxeGrinder featuring the line-up of Pacik (Bass; exUnder the Fridge/ex-Zeroid), Hauke (Drums; ex-Drown in Blood/ex-Incrust (Germany)/ex-Neokortex/ex-Sixth Alloy), Kalle (Guitars/Vocals; ex-Psychotic Mind Battle/ex-Darm/ex-Incrust (Germany)/ ex-Mood (Germany)/ex-Neokortex, Padde (Guitars/Vocals; ex-Drown in Blood/Kriminal/ex-Bent Cross/ex-Darm/ ex-Incrust (Germany)/ex-Just Went Black/ex-Mood (Germany)/ ex-Neokortex/ex-Psychotic Mind Battle. They would release a whole set of mostly EPs and a couple of albums: Instinct of Survival EP (2000), Ruins (Split; 2004), Winter in My Mind EP (2006), Instinct of Survival / Guided Cradle (Split; 2006), North of Nowhere (2009), Screams of Suffering EP (2010), Lapsed into Absurdity EP (2013), Call of the Blue Distance (2014) and recently Life Survival (Split; 2016).
