At Dusk take the listener back to a time when the Thrash styles published by the likes of Roadrunner' and Metal Blade Records' during the time when they produced the heaviest and most innovative Heavy Metal available. Well those days are gone and those who try to imitate it sound woefully out of date but At Dusk didn't fall into that trap when they burst out of Windsor, Ontario with Darryl Fletcher (Vocals/Guitar) and Aaron Palmer (drums; originally bass) at the helm after leaving a former similar styled outfit. Their belief was to NOT follow the commercial trends their former outfit was pushing for. Several of the tracks originally to be used in the former outfit were reworked by 2001. When Chris Dicandido joined on Bass the band was born. Their style was influenced primarily by Thrash acts from the Bay Area of California (like Slayer) and Germany, as well as some old-school Death Metal. They quickly gained a local following from the Metal, Punk and Hardcore communities. They have yet to be signed but released a demo in 2002.
