Muddy Roxx

Biography

Muddy Roxx (2002-2007): a Power Metal band from Rome, Italy.

S

tarted in August 2002, Muddy Roxx formed with Marco "The Sentinel" Moretti (vocals; former member of Italian power metal act Savers who had opened for Dio and also realized a CD), Fabio "Hermes" Chiesa (guitar/backing vocals), Luigi "Sickboy" Brancaccio (guitar/backing vocals), Adriano "Renegadrian" Cilenti (bass/backing vocals) and Armando "Beatmaster" Cereoli (drums/backing vocals) to relive the hard rocking styles of the 1980s. This '80s metal style band would release their debut self-titled EP promo in 2004 after gigging in the Rome area with other local acts IV Luna, Rainspawn, Jailbreak and friends Graal (Italian for "Grail") at local clubs Fuze Pub, Alkatraz, Jailbreak and Radio Londra under the influence of such acts as Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Mr. Big and Tokyo Blade. Their efforts went nowhere, however, and the band split in 2007.
