(Redirected from: Souls At Zero)
he Baltimore group initially known as Wrathchild, founded by Brad Divens (vocals/bass), Jay Abbene (guitar), Terry Carter (guitar/vocals) and Shannon Larkin (drums/vocals), would be forced to change their name by adding the suffix "America" right off the bat due to legal action by the British band of the same name. When everything had settled down, their debut album Climbing The Walls finally emerged on 'Atlantic' to only minimal interest in 1989. The follow-up 3-D emerged in 1991 to similar disinterest. Facing continual legal issues with the British act, Wrathchild America would return in 1993 with Souls At Zero, Six-T-Six EP (1994) and A Taste For The Perverse (1995) under the collective name Souls At Zero. They would disband shortly later with Larkin joining Ugly Kid Joe, and Abbene joining Crowbar, both acts are now also gone.
Footnote: Do not confuse this Wrathchild with the U.K outfit of the same name.
