Geezer

L

ed by Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, Geezer (or g//z/r, as it appeared on the first album), along with Burton C. Bell (of Fear Factory; vocals), Pedro Howse (guitar) and Deen Castronovo (ex-Wild Dogs/ex-Ozzy Osbourne; drums) would produce more than just re-hashed Black Sabbath nor re-hashed fads of the past or present, but a definite 90's Metal style suitable for the time. Plastic Planet arrived in 1995, with Black Science following in 1997 without Bell, who left to deal with his Fear Factory project entirely, to be replaced byClark Brown. Since Black Science, Butler has been involved with the various Black Sabbath reunions, and the status of Geezer is unknown.
