ormed in 1993, Myrkskog toiled in the black metal underground before finally recording their debut album, Deathmachine, in 2000, featuring high speed double-bass with rapid blast-beats and fillsguitars featuring harmonic tremolo picking and sometimes power chords with fast solos composed by Destructhor (Real Name: Thor Anders Myhren; guitar/vocals) who, along with drummer Secthdamon (Real Name: Tony Ingebrigtsen), were members in Zyklon; Destructhor was also formerly of Morbid Angel. The membership would be rounded out by Master V (Real Name: Kenneth Lindberg; vocals/bass), Savant M (Real Name: Haakon Nikolas Eihwaz Forwald; guitar). The album proved to be a monstrous, powerful black metal/death metal mixture along with techno remixes on some tracks that allowed the band to fit in with the likes of Zyklon making it clear that these guys mean business. Demariel (Real Name: William Christophersen; bass) entered the scene while V and M left before the release of Superior Massacre (2002).
