Strappado (1990-1994): a Thrash Metal band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

A

fter the Canadian version of Slaughter broke up, Dave Hewson founded this band along with fellow ex-Slaughter alumni Brian Lourie (R.I.P. 2008; drums) and Bobby Sadzak (guitars) to focus on a more 'Bay Area' thrash metal style as opposed to Slaughter's more death metal infused thrash metal sound. Along with Mike Dalton (bass), Slaughter would release Not Dead Yet (1991) and Fatal Judgement EP (1992). Two years later they split.
